Update: This article is still relevant in 2022.

This question is getting asked more and more as time goes on.

Facts:

  • We all want to save time and increase efficiency
  • We all want to generate more leads for our business so it can grow and thrive
  • We all know LinkedIn is the best B2B networking tool on the market today (and will continue to be for the foreseeable future)

OK. Now that we’ve got that out of the way…

The question is: what LinkedIn automation software should I use to achieve these goals?

Here’s what I recommend:

1. Outbound LinkedIn Automation

If you need to generate leads on LinkedIn, you should start with sending connection requests, engaging with your ideal clients, building your network, and reaching out with conversational messages to get replies and build relationships – and eventually sales.

For this purpose I recommend LinkedRich.

The reason I love LinkedRich (I’m a bit biased) is that it adds cold email to the strategy as well. This increases results at least 5x, because you’re spreading your outreach across multiple channels, not just relying on one.

It’s affordable for most serious businesses as well (and even comes in cheaper than some LinkedIn-only solutions!). Our clients and partners love using LinkedRich to manage their accounts.

Using something like LinkedRich + a solid 2020s-approved LinkedIn strategy is guaranteed to connect you with ideal customers and fill the sales pipeline.

2. LinkedIn Engagement Pods

Outbound is a fast, effective way to start generating leads and filling your sales pipeline.

But most people overlook a huge part of the power of LinkedIn: inbound leads.

The best way to get inbound leads from LinkedIn is to create content in different formats (text post, image post, video post, LinkedIn articles, etc.) and share it with your targeted network you’re building with the outbound strategy.

The problem is, when you’re new to LinkedIn, your posts don’t get a lot of traction that quickly.

It takes a long time to get the algorithm to start boosting your posts to the people you want to see them!

That’s where LinkedIn engagement pods come in.

Engagement pods are curated groups of people who react, like, and comment on each other’s posts to get the algorithm to give the posts more visibility.

Of course you can go out and find manual engagement pods. But these are generally pretty slow and manual, so they’re not as effective.

For automated LinkedIn engagement pods, I recommend LinkBoost.

I love LinkBoost because it has a very generous free tier and the pods are very diverse and niche specific. Lempod is also a great choice on this.

Now, when you create your content you can be sure it’s cutting through the noise and getting to your ideal customers (in your network and beyond).

Let’s Keep it Simple

I don’t want to overcomplicate things.

Obviously there are hundreds of other softwares out there to automate LinkedIn (at least).

This post is meant for businesses who are operating and generating revenue – and are looking to scale and grow.

If you’re just starting out, there may be less expensive solutions for you. We wrote a whole post covering different LinkedIn software – go check it out.

Conclusion

LinkedIn is the largest and most accessible B2B network online today and there are unlimited opportunities in the marketplace!

Use it wisely and profit unbelievably. Ignore it and possibly miss out on some of the biggest opportunities available to us at any time in history.

May sound a bit dramatic, but I’ve seen it with my own eyes 🙂
